    When Jeremy Clarkson, outspoken automotive journalist, ex-Top Gear host, and co-host on The Grand Tour, drives a car he doesn't like he doesn't pull his punches. As Jezza harshly puts it, cars shouldn't just be a form of transportation.

    These 10 cars made Clarkson's "the terrible 10" list on his column in The Sunday Times for lacking imagination and not giving the journalist "the Fizz," which his list of top 10 cars did. In typical Clarkson fashion, the list is controversial. Some of the cars on Clarkson's list have received praise from other outlets, which shouldn't really come as a surprise since he usually goes against the majority's opinion.

    Nonetheless, there's at least one car that will catch you off guard.

    Nissan GT-R Track Edition

    What? The vaunted Nissan GT-R is on Jeremy Clarkson's list of terrible vehicles? Sort of. Clarkson says the standard GT-R is a "five-star car." But this Track Edition is "useless" due to a stiff ride that makes it "bloody close" to dangerous to drive on the street.

    "It says BMW on the back, and because you know just how good BMWs can be, you expect something better," said Clarkson. In other words, it's not a bad car, but it's not great, either.

    It seems Clarkson isn't a big fan of the Infiniti brand as a whole. "The cars have always been ho-hum and have been sold to people in America who are too interested in food and the baby Jesus to notice they are tarted-up Datsuns," he said.

    Zenos E10 S

    The Zenos E10 S is a stripped-down sportscar, so you'd think an enthusiast like Jeremy Clarkson would love it. Right? "It has no doors, no windows, no sun visors, no radio, no carpets and no roof of any kind. I have encountered better-equipped pencils," he said. But the biggest problem Clarkson had with the Zenos was with its brakes, which, devoid of ABS, lock up way too easily.

    Jeremy Clarkson doesn't hate Volkswagen vehicles. In fact, he holds the first-gen VW Scirocco in high esteem, having previously owned one. But after some time with the latest version, he said, "As an overall package it did nothing all week except remind me how much I wanted a Golf GTI."

    Clarkson clearly doesn't like boring cars. He says the Renault Kadjar is a "soulless tool" that nobody will ever yearn to own or drive. He's probably right.

    Clarkson didn't have much to say about the Vauxhall Astra. What he did say, though, wasn't very positive. "It would be fine for anyone who needed four wheels and a place to sit down when moving about," he concluded.

    "The Skoda has the same amount of soul as a fridge freezer. It’s the sort of car that you’d buy by the foot," says Clarkson. In other words, it's boring, and by extension, so is the VW Passat, which is basically the same vehicle underneath.
